Specific Learning Disabilities The Hill City Secondary Special Education Department works with students in grades 7-12, who have qualified for Special Education services according to the State of Minnesota and Federal guidelines. The department works with a variety of identified disabilities including: Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Development Cognitive Delays and Other Health Disabilities.
Transition Services Transition services are also provided to students in grades 7-12 to assist them in making a smooth transition from high school to employment or higher education. Activities are determined based on individual need in the areas of Employment, Post-Secondary Education and Independent Living Skills.
Member of Itasca Areas School Collaborative (IASC) Hill City School is part of a Special Education Co-op through the Itasca Area School Collaborative.
